Evolve Competition Team Selections Announcement
Over the weekend, Evolve MMA held the try-outs for the
Evolve Competition Teams, the official amateur fight teams for Asia’s top
martial arts organization. As
expected, the try-outs were very well attended and extremely competitive. A very talented and promising field of
Evolve students courageously put their skills on display for the many Evolve
instructors in attendance. All of
the instructors left the try-outs inspired and proud of their students. It was a true showing of the warrior
spirit that the Evolve Family embodies.
After careful evaluation and consideration, a final list has
been compiled of those who have been selected to join the respective
competition teams. This was not an
easy process. Every single student
who showed up to the try-outs deserves the utmost respect and praise. It takes great courage to put your
skills to the test, and we were truly impressed by every one who showed up.
For those who made the team, we want to extend a big congratulations. We are honored to have you on the team, and we look forward to guiding you on the next step of your martial arts journey.
As for those who did not make the team this time around, we are
equally as proud of you. Do not
hang your head, but rather take pride in having showed up to test your
skills. Use this as motivation to
work harder, train longer, and become better. Don’t look at this as an end, but rather a beginning. We fully expect to see every one of you at
the next round of try-outs. In the
words of one of the world’s greatest athletes Michael Jordan, “If your trying
to achieve there will be roadblocks.
I’ve had them; everybody has had them. But obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn
around and give up. Figure out how
to climb it, go through it, or work around it.”
