Shinya Aoki to Headline Metamoris Pro!
The Metamoris Pro Jiu Jitsu Invitational II was officially announced this morning, and the Evolve Fight Team’s Shinya Aoki has been given a headlining spot on the event card. Shinya will take on BJJ World Champion Kron Gracie in what promises to be one of the most highly anticipated grappling matches of the year.
The Metamoris Pro was founded in 2012 by Ralek Gracie, and it offers one of the most unique and exciting platforms for competitive BJJ. Each superfight, which features the
biggest names in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, is a single 20 minute round. The only way to win is via
submission. There is no point
scoring. As one might imagine,
this makes for an incredibly entertaining BJJ fight.
This year the event will be held on June 9th in
Los Angeles, California. Luckily,
for those who can’t make it to Los Angeles, the entire event will be broadcast
online via HD live stream. For
