The Women Warriors Shine Again
Among the many defining events of 2012 in the world of MMA,
perhaps none was more prolific than the rise of women’s MMA. It was truly a banner year for the
advancement and acceptance of women as legitimate mixed martial artists. Although the women have been training
side by side with the men for quite some time now, it wasn’t until 2012 that we
really saw them crossover into the mainstream. Later this year, Ronda Rousey and Liz Carmouche will headline a UFC event. This
will be the first time that women have competed on a UFC card. They have officially arrived.
Recently, the first female only promotion, Invicta FC, held
its fourth event. Invicta FC is
one of the greatest platforms for women to showcase their skills and has thus
far done an incredible job of putting together exciting cards. Over this past weekend, they delivered
once again. These women are true
warriors with incredible talent.
So that everyone can appreciate their work, Invicta FC has made the
entire card available for your viewing pleasure. Check it out below.
