Superfight: Jose Aldo vs. Frankie Edgar Preview
It’s official! Former UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie “The
Answer” Edgar is heading down to the featherweight division to take on reigning
champion Jose Aldo. This is a
superfight fans have been fantasizing about for years, and the date is finally
set for UFC 156 on February 2nd in Las Vegas, Nevada. Since claiming the featherweight belt in
2009 Aldo has looked unbeatable, dominating every challenger placed in front of
him. Edgar is coming off two very
close and controversial decision losses to Benson Henderson, and is hungrier
than ever to reclaim his world champion status. This fight has all the makings of an instant MMA
classic.
