Evolve MMA To Initiate New Self-Defense Program
Effective on February 1st Evolve MMA will be adding street self-defense
classes to its regular schedule. In light of the recent
violent attacks around the world (United States, India, Malaysia, etc.), we
have decided to take the initiative to teach the principles of street
self-defense, especially as it pertains to real-life crisis situations. It
is an unfortunate truth that the world we now live in is filled with violent
predators. This is a truth that we cannot change. What we
can change is ourselves.
Knowledge of self-defense can often mean the difference between life and
death in certain situations. It is an insurance policy for the unexpected
crisis. In today's world of chaos, violence, and uncertainty, it is important
to learn self-defense as a basic necessity. Above all, it is empowering to know
how to defend oneself in real world situations.
At Evolve, our Self-Defense Program is designed for real world
encounters. Our instructors are street-tested, ring-proven, and
battle-certified. Our methods and techniques are designed to help you get
out of threatening situations safely. The Evolve Self-Defense Program is based
on realistic self-defense, utilizing some of the
core concepts of Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Mixed Martial Arts. This
program also incorporates concepts and principles from the US Special Forces
and FBI as well as other law enforcement agencies.
