It does not matter how far you have fallen, it is never too late to get back up and turn things around.
The incredible story of UFC fighter, Court McGee, is living proof of
this. Before finding mixed martial arts
things were not going well for Court. He
had fallen deep into the depths of addiction and had all but given up on
life. After being thrown out of his
parents’ home, Court moved into a small trailer and continued down his path of
destruction. He finally hit rock bottom
when he overdosed and his heart stopped.
He was technically dead. In what
can only be described as a miracle, the paramedics were able to revive Court
and give him a second chance at life. It
was at this point that Court made the decision to turn his life around.
Court McGee threw himself into martial arts as if his life
depended on it, and in reality it probably did.
He replaced a harmful addiction with a positive addiction and started on
the road to recovery. In June of 2010,
Court won The Ultimate Fighter reality television series and earned himself a
six-figure contract to fight in the world’s premier mixed martial arts
organization, the UFC. Through the
incredible power of martial arts, Court has transformed his life. His story is living proof that no matter how
