UFC Fight Preview: Diaz vs. Maynard 3
The TUF 18 Finale is being held this weekend in Las
Vegas, Nevada, and although it isn’t the most anticipated event of the year,
the main event is a fight fans dream.
Nate Diaz and Gray Maynard will meet inside the Octagon for the third time. The first time these two met, Diaz won
via guillotine submission. In the
rematch, Maynard squeezed by with a controversial decision. It was an absolute war that really
could have gone to either fighter.
Since that time, Diaz and Maynard have been through a lot of ups and
downs in their careers. There is
no doubt that they are both very different fighters now than when they last
squared off. Nonetheless, you can
be sure that these two guys will put on a fight of the night performance. There has been no love lost between these
two over the years, and they will both be looking to make an emphatic statement to
the rest of the lightweight division.
