Sugar Ray Robinson Highlight Reel
You can’t have a discussion about the greatest boxers of all
time without giving mention of Sugar Ray Robinson. His accomplishments in the sport of boxing are undeniable
and his legacy is one that will never be forgotten. By the time he was 19 years old, Sugar Ray had amassed an 85-0
amateur record, with 69 of those victories by knockout. He turned pro in 1940 and over the next
11 years went on a 128-1-2 tear through the sport of boxing. 84 of his 128 wins were by way of
knockout. He won both the
welterweight and middleweight world titles before retiring in 1952. After two and a half years of
retirement he returned to the sport and reclaimed the middleweight world
title. He finally retired in 1965
with a career record of 173-19-6.
He is without question one of the greatest boxers of all time.
