The Evolve Fight Team wins again!
Led by Kru Chatri Sityodtong, Professor Leandro Issa, and Kru Lamnammon Sor Sumalee, the Evolve Fight Team delivered dominating victories last night at DARE Fighting Championship in Thailand. DARE Fighting Championship is Thailand's top professional MMA event (http://www.darefightsports.com).
Zorobabel Moreira and Brian "The Polar Bear" Choi pulled off huge upset victories. Before the fights, their opponents were heavily favored to win. The Evolve Fight Team accepted the fights on short notice, giving both Zoro and Brian only 1 week to prepare. In addition, their opponents missed the agreed fight weight by 6 and 3 kilos respectively. By fight time, Zoro's opponent outweighed Zoro by 10 kilos and Brian's opponent outweighed Brian by 7 kilos.

Zoro faced Ferrid Kheder, a well-known MMA veteran with over 25 professional fights. Prior to last night, Ferrid had only been beaten once in his last 15 professional fights. Zoro completely dominated the first two rounds with excellent Muay Thai and BJJ. The third round was close as Zoro's lack of cardio preparation showed. Nevertheless, Zoro won by unanimous decision and moves to 5-1 as a professional MMA fighter.
Brian fought against Sebastien Garguier, an MMA veteran of 20 professional MMA fights. He used outstanding wrestling and repeatedly took his opponent down where he used some ground and pound technique and BJJ. Brian completely controlled the fight, but also escaped a tight guillotine attempt and a revers triangle to win a unanimous decision. Brian moves to 5-1 as a professional MMA fighter.
