Thailand's Greatest Muay Thai Teacher

At 74 years of age, Kru Yodtong Senanan is widely regarded as the greatest Muay Thai teacher in Thailand for producing the most number of World Champions in history. He is Thailand's most famous Grandmaster of Muay Thai and is a national icon in Thailand. He is the founder and Kru of the legendary Sityodtong Gym in Thailand. The Sityodtong Gym has produced the most number of World Champions in the history of Muay Thai in Thailand. Some of his most famous World Champions are Samart Payakaroon, Kongtoranee Payakaroon, Chartchai Sityodtong, Nuengpichit Sityodtong, Yoddecha Sityodtong, Detpitak Sityodtong, Rob Kaman, and many more. Under Kru Yodtong's leadership, the Sityodtong Gym has produced 57 Muay Thai Champions (including 22 Lumpinee World Champions). Kru Yodtong is known as the Grandfather of modern Muay Thai by the Thai media and public. Most recently, the Royal Family of Thailand awarded Kru Yodtong with the prestigious Lifetime Master Achievement Award for being one of the most influential Grandmasters in the history of Muay Thai. To this day, he is the only Grandmaster of Muay Thai to receive such an award. Some of his accomplishments include producing the most number (57) of Muay Thai Champions in history, leading the Thailand National Team to numerous victories, developing the most number of top instructors in Thailand, developing new revolutionary techniques in Muay Thai, and much more. Kru Yodtong has more than 57 years of experience in Muay Thai as a professional fighter, trainer of Champions, and Grandmaster.

The founder of the legendary Sityodtong Camp, Kru Yodtong recently gave a special Muay Thai seminar at Evolve MMA, the largest overseas Sityodtong Camp in the world.

DREAM FC Champion Shinya Aoki will be coming to Evolve MMA in April to train with the Evolve Fight Team and to give a special seminar to our students. World Champion Shinya Aoki is currently the top MMA fighter in Asia. A Black Belt in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo, Shinya has also trained Muay Thai under Evolve's own Kru Bang (Muangfalek Kiatvichian) in the past. BJJ World Champion Leandro "Brodinho" Issa is a member of the Evolve Fight Team, Asia's top professional fight team. With World Champions in Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, and No Gi Grappling, Evolve MMA is the top martial arts training organization in Asia. An Evolve Instructor, Leandro is an elite BJJ Black Belt, a professional MMA fighter, and a Martial Combat FC Champion. He currently trains and teaches out of Evolve MMA in Singapore.

A Wrestling Champion's Amazing Story

You've probably never heard of Anthony Robles. However, you should know him. He is the 2011 Division 1 National Wrestling Champion. Anthony competed and won at the highest level of competition in the world. This story is extraordinary because Anthony was born with only 1 leg. Through sheer willpower and hard work, he turned his handicap into an advantage. Against all odds, he chased a dream and turned it into a reality. Evolve MMA salutes a great champion and congratulates Anthony Robles on his championship victory last week. Here is the championship match.

Another Muay Thai Champion is Born!

Tonight, Mitch "The Dragon" Chilson from the Evolve Fight Team became the 147 lbs Thepprasit Stadium Champion in Thailand with a beautiful 4th round TKO victory over Nopadol, a young Lumpinee fighter and a rising star. Mitch was a staggering 7 to 1 underdog heading into the fight. His opponent is younger, faster, stronger, and more experienced. Mitch won with pure heart, excellent footwork, solid technique, and a creative game plan. Thank you to Kru Saknarong Sityodtong and Kru Yodsanan Sityodtong for cornering Mitch to victory.

Mitch has been training very hard under the legendary Evolve Muay Thai Instructor Team, learning from legends and World Champions like Namsaknoi, Orono, Yoddecha, Lamnammoon, Muangfalek, Kongtoranee, Yodsanan, and many others. With 15 full time instructors and over 2,000 professional fights, the Evolve Muay Thai Team is the largest Muay Thai team outside of Thailand and one of the most decorated in the entire world. As Kru Yodtong Senanan, the head of Sityodtong Camp, has always stressed, "to be the best, you must surround yourself with the best - the best teachers, the best training partners, the best friends, the best family." Kru Saknarong Sityodtong has been grooming Mitch under his watchful eye over the last 2 years. During this time, Mitch's Muay Thai game has increased 10 fold in terms of technique, speed, power, and general ringmanship. When he first joined the Evolve Fight Team, Mitch was an intermediate Muay Thai fighter. His transformation has been incredible and he is now a good professional Muay Thai fighter and a Thailand Champion!

The Hardest Strike Ever Recorded!

UFC Light Heavyweight World Champion, Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, was put to the test on ESPN's Sports Science. A Muay Thai expert, Rua was asked to deliver strikes to a heavy bag with sensors. The result is that Rua generated over 2,700 lbs of force with his low leg kick. It was the hardest strike of any kind ever recorded on ESPN, demonstrating yet again why Muay Thai is the most devastating striking art in the world.

Evolve Instructor Profile: Orono Wor Petchpun

Muay Thai World Champion and Evolve Instructor, Orono Wor Petchpun, with some of his belts

3x Lumpinee Muay Thai World Champion, Orono Wor Petchpun, has joined Evolve MMA as both an instructor and a fighter. He is the latest World Champion to join the Evolve Fight Team, Asia's most decorated professional fight team. As one of the top World Champions in Thailand, he has an astonishing 9 championship belts to his name. Orono also has the distinction of knocking out WMC World Champion Yodsaenklai Fairtex twice as well as beating the legendary Saenchai Sor Kingstar and K1 Max Champion Buakaw Por Pramuk.

Rich Franklin and Matt Hume coming to Evolve!

Evolve Mixed Martial Arts® is pleased to announce that former UFC Middleweight World Champion, Rich Franklin, and world-renowned MMA coach, Matt Hume, are coming to Evolve MMA in Singapore to train with our World Champions and the Evolve Fight Team. They will also teach a seminar for Evolve students. Rich is widely considered to be one of the toughest fighters to have ever graced the UFC with an unbreakable will and incredible warrior heart. Matt is known to be both one of the best grapplers and MMA coaches in the world. Asia's Little Mike Tyson

Yodsanan Sityodtong throwing a vicious right uppercut

With 48 KOs and a 58-3 professional record, Yodsanan Sityodtong is a WBA Boxing World Champion and an instructor at Evolve MMA. The media has given him the nickname, "Little Mike Tyson" because of his ferocious one punch KO power. Yodsanan is a member of the Evolve Fight Team, Asia's most decorated professional fight team. He is also the head of the Boxing Program at Evolve MMA where he teaches every day.
