Introducing Team Evolve...
Evolve Mixed Martial Arts® is pleased to announce the official launch of the Evolve Competition Team and the Evolve Athlete Team.
Here are the three teams at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts. As an Evolve member, please note that you do not have to join any team if you do not wish to do so. All teams are completely optional. Also, please note that the selection process is rigorous and there is no guarantee of getting selected onto any of the teams.
THE EVOLVE FIGHT TEAM
The Evolve Fight Team is reserved only for the best of the best. It is Asia's top professional fighting team and is currently comprised of World Champions in Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, and No Gi Grappling. It also has professional fighters and/or champions in the UFC, Martial Combat FC, Sengoku, the Art of War FC, Lumpinee Stadium Championship, Mundials World Championship, and many other top events. Evolve MMA intends to keep producing additional professional fighters and champions for all the major events around the world for MMA, Muay Thai, Boxing, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Requirements
-The selection process is only through a rigorous try-out process and/or instructor appointment
-You must be a professional fighter and/or want to be one
-You must train 4-6 hours per day, 6 days a week under the Evolve Fight Team training program
-You must teach a minimum of 3 hours per week at Evolve MMA
-You do not have to be a current Evolve member to apply

-If you qualify for employment, you will receive employment at Evolve MMA

THE EVOLVE COMPETITION TEAM
The Evolve Competition Team is reserved only for the best amateur competitors. It is for serious amateur athletes who want to represent Evolve officially in competition (in BJJ, Muay Thai, Boxing or MMA). The goal is to produce the top amateur competition team in Asia and one of the best in the world.
Requirements
-Minimum rank is Blue Belt in BJJ, Level 3 in Muay Thai, and/or Level 3 Boxing
-The selection process is by instructor appointment only
-You must train a minimum of 4 times per week
-For competition preparation, you must undergo the Evolve Competition Team program
-You must help assist classes as an Assistant Instructor for a minimum of 3 hours per week at Evolve MMA
-You will only be eligible after completing your 1st year at Evolve

-Your training fee will be at a 20% discount to standard member dues
-You will receive extra attention for your learning by the Evolve Instructor Team
-You will be eligible for the special monthly Evolve Competition Team training class
-Evolve will manage your amateur competition career

-The team will be led by Professor Gordinho Correa and Kru Chatri Sityodtong
THE EVOLVE ATHLETE TEAM
The Evolve Athlete Team is reserved only for recreational competitors and hobbyists. It is for amateur competitors who want to compete in tournaments or fights as a recreational hobby and without official Evolve representation.
Requirements
-Minimum rank is white belt with 3 stripes in BJJ, Level 3 in Muay Thai, and/or Level 2 Boxing
-The selection process is by instructor appointment only
-You must train a minimum of 3 times per week
