No matter how amazing they may seem at their peak, all warriors move through the circle of life. They start off as fresh kids with big dreams and high hopes. Martial arts hardens the body, toughens the mind, and sharpens the spirit. Over time, warriors are born and champions are made. Eventually, the former warriors and champions become vessels of wisdom for the next generation. Teachers are born and the cycle begins anew.
The Sityodtong Gym in Thailand is widely regarded as the most respected Muay Thai gym in Thailand for producing the most World Champions in history. Kru Yodtong Senanan single-handedly groomed each World Champion from a child. His love of Muay Thai inspired him to create new moves and techniques never seen before. His dedication to his students created the best fighting team in Thailand. Kru Yodtong Senanan is the greatest Muay Thai teacher alive today. The Royal Family of Thailand bestowed a Lifetime Masters Achievement Award upon Kru Yodtong for his influence on the sport of Muay Thai. To this day, it is the only award ever given out to a Muay Thai teacher.
The warrior tradition of Sityodtong is carried on across 11 academies around the globe. Evolve Mixed Martial Arts is the largest branch of the Sityodtong Gym in the world, excluding Thailand. At Evolve, it is our goal to train our students in the tradition of excellence as taught by Kru Yodtong. Evolve is staffed with the largest Sityodtong Instructor Team outside of Thailand with a total of 9 certified instructors (with 2 World Champions) from the Sityodtong Gym. Each Evolve Muay Thai instructor is a world-class fighter and has been with Kru Yodtong since he was a child.
