For the month of May 2014, we are very excited to announce Nobuhiko Takatsu as the Student of the Month.  Nobuhiko is one of Evolve MMA’s most talented and committed BJJ students.  He recently received the highest degree of honor and recognition from the Evolve BJJ Instructor Team when he was awarded the first ever black belt in the history of the Evolve Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program.  Although Nobuhiko will certainly not be the last to earn such an honor, he will always be the first and a shining example to all students of what can be accomplished through hard work and dedication.  Nobuhiko is an excellent role model for all students at Evolve MMA, and we are very honored to have him as part of the Evolve Family.

For the month of February 2014, we are excited to announce Hsien Hwee as the Student of the Month.  Known by most of the Evolve Family as “Milo”, Hsien Hwee is one of our most inspirational students.  Although only 18 years old, Milo has endured through incredibly difficult times and triumphed over incredible odds.  He is one of the very first students of Evolve MMA’s Community Outreach Program, and he is a shining example of the power of martial arts to unleash human potential.
