UFC 173: Barao Breakdown
In anticipation of the upcoming UFC 173, the UFC has
partnered up with the Gracie brothers, Rener and Ryron, to provide a highly
technical breakdown of bantamweight champion Renan Barao’s signature
submission, the arm triangle. In
his title defense against Michael McDonald at UFC on FUEL TV 7, Barao
demonstrated world class jiu-jitsu skills by earning the victory via arm
triangle submission. The way in
which Barao set up the submission by transitioning from the back control
position was a true work of art.
