Countdown to UFC 169: Mir vs. Overeem
In addition to two UFC World Championship title fights, UFC
169 will feature the explosive heavyweight match up between Frank Mir and
Alistair Overeem. Frank Mir is the
former UFC heavyweight champion, and Overeem was at one time considered to be the most feared heavyweight fighter in the world.
However, in recent outings things have not gone well for Mir or Overeem. Mir has dropped 3 straight inside the
Octagon, and Overeem has lost his last two. It is safe to say that both of these guys are now at crossroads in their careers, and a win at UFC 169 is critical.
