Countdown to UFC 168: Rousey vs. Tate
This weekend at UFC 168, the biggest rivalry in the history
of women’s mixed martial arts will play out when Ronday Rousey defends her
title against Meisha Tate. When
these two last fought back in 2011, it was for a Strikeforce world title. Rousey won the fight, as she has all
others, by first round armbar submission.
This marked the beginning of a bitter rivalry, which was highlighted in
their recent roles as opposing coaches on The Ultimate Fighter 18. To say that these two women don’t like
each other is a vast understatement.
This fight is personal.
