Countdown to UFC 164: Mir vs. Barnett
UFC 164 is all set to go down this weekend in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin. The fight card is
stacked from top to bottom with electrifying fights, and the co-main event of the evening features two of the most
experienced and accomplished heavyweights in the world. They are also both former UFC
heavyweight champions. Frank Mir
is looking to rebound from two straight losses inside the Octagon and prove
that he is still a top contender in the UFC heavyweight division. Josh Barnett will be making his long
awaited return to the UFC after an over 10 year absence. Barnett has won 9 of his last 10 bouts outside of the UFC and with a big win over Mir will put himself right back in the mix for title
contention. It will be very
interesting to see how this one plays out, both standing and on the ground.
