Classes have begun!

Classes started yesterday at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts! Our first class buzzed with a ton of energy with a room full of eager Evolve members. The Evolve Instructors were excited to work with such a fun group. Nuengpichit Sityodtong, Yoddecha Sityodtong, Chatri Sityodtong, Daorung Sityodtong, and Mitch Chilson all taught the class together. Bernard Lee, one of our Assistant Muay Thai Instructors, is in the US and will be back in a few weeks.

In other news, several Evolve Instructors gave Antonio Braga Neto, the 2008 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Champion, a warm welcome to Singapore. After a 37 hour flight from Brazil, Braga Neto was surprisingly still ready to go out! So it was an evening of fun in Clarke Quay with good food and lots of laughs. Braga Neto will be teaching his first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class today. As all of you know, Braga Neto is the 2008 World Champion in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the Super Heavyweight division. He is also the 2008 World Champion in the No Gi Worlds in the Absolute division. He also won the Brazilian Nationals this year. Roger Gracie, Xande Ribeiro, and Braga Neto are considered the 3 hottest BJJ Black Belts in the world at the moment. Braga Neto is at Evolve to improve on his standup game by training Muay Thai under our World Champions, Nuengpichit and Yoddecha. Braga Neto will be with Evolve teaching BJJ and learning Muay Thai for a few months before heading back to Brazil.
