The Evolve Fight Team’s Leandro Ataides made his much
anticipated ONE FC debut last month at ONE FC: Warrior Spirit in Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia. His opponent was a much more experienced French fighter, Brayan Rafiq. After a good grappling exchange early in the first round,
Ataides showed off his newly improved Muay Thai skills, landing some big punches
to finish the fight by KO.
Although already an established world class grappler, Ataides has been
working hard with Evolve’s Muay Thai World Champions this year. His hard work paid off in this fight,
and he sent an emphatic message to the rest of the ONE FC middleweight division
that he has arrived.
